Actor’s Workshop
Actor’s Workshop is an after-school club for Oak Grove Middle students, grades 6, 7 and 8. The workshop is typically offered in the fall and is an opportunity for students to learn and develop their acting skills.
Topics include character development, auditioning, movement on stage, voice work and more!
2024-25 School Year
Actor’s Workshop is a 7-week class run after school on Wednesdays from September 18-November 6 (no class MEA break). This class is FREE and is part of the Fusion program, with snacks provided and the activity bus available.
Helping actors learn to grab the audience’s attention and improve your acting skills is what we do in the Actor’s Workshop. Under the guidance of a trained actor, you will work on improving your acting through small-group scene and character work, actor skill development sessions and a few games to practice important stage behaviors. At our last Workshop, you will get to perform your scenes in front of a small audience!
