About OGM Theater
Since 2001, OGM Theater has put on dozens of shows that have been seen by tens of thousands of people at Oak Grove Middle School in Bloomington, Minnesota. Annual productions feature students in grades 6-8, many of whom are performing on stage for the first time. OGM Theater has been featured multiple times on KARE-11, Fox 9, The Jason Show, Twin Cities Live, and in the Sun Current newspaper. Many former students involved in OGM Theater have gone on to perform on local stages and across the country in college and professional theater productions. Megan Joy Borgerding is new to OGM Theater Company this year and very excited to be joining such a wonderful team for Theater Workshop and Matilda Jr! She started writing and directing shows when she was in fourth grade with her debut show, “The Swamp Monster Play.” Since then her love of theater has only grown and she has been active in many facets of theater including acting, stage crew, costume design, choreography, and directing. Going to school in Bloomington, she continues to be active in various Bloomington school productions. Megan has her BA in Theater and Community from University of Minnesota Duluth. She has worked in youth theater for over 7 years and has loved every second of it. Her favorite part of working with students is their creativity and willingness to try just about anything!

At DU, Jenna worked in many areas, including acting, directing, and stage management. Jenna has worked as a director for Children’s Fantasy Theatre in Bloomington for 7 years, which is where she started her theater journey when she was four years old. Jenna also began directing at Jefferson High School in the fall of 2023 along with working on Theatre Workshop here at Oak Grove Middle School. As a former OGMS student, Jenna is thrilled to be back and to create an exciting experience for all our students!

He also helped out with Spongebob. In his free time he loves to play his Bassoon or Euphonium. He is also part of the Jefferson Marching Band. He loves anything to do with music!
Emily Morse is a former OGMS student. Her first musical with Oak Grove Theater Company was Alice in Wonderland back in 2011. She was a student assistant with OGM Theater for two years before becoming choreographer in 2017 for Madagascar. Miss Morse took dance lessons for 12 years and has been involved in theater since she was four years old. When not Choreographing for OGMS she has helped co-run OGM Theater Workshop, and often assists other production departments like costuming and props. Miss Morse is also involved with other Bloomington school productions.
Christina Price joined the OGM Theater Company in 2022 and is excited to work as the costume coordinator and help with the Theater Workshop. She has a BA in Theater Arts with an emphasis in acting from the U of M Twin Cities. Since she was young, she has performed on many different stages and non- stages, including the Walker Art Center roof and an old gutted out movie theater! She is no stranger to doing a costume change while running from one side of backstage to the other and looks forward to helping a new generation of performers and crew members have experiences that are just as crazy and grand as hers have been over the years.
